Music
The word music comes from the Greek mousikê by manner of the Latin musica. it's ultimately derived from mousa, the Greek word for muse. In ancient Balkan country, the word mousike was wont to mean any of the humanities or sciences ruled by the Muses. Later, in Rome, ars musica embraced poetry still as instrument-oriented music. within the European Middle Ages, musica was a part of the mathematical quadrivium: arithmetics, geometry, physical science and musica. The thought of musica was split into four major sorts by the fifth century thinker, Boethius: musica universalis, musica humana, musica instrumentalis, and musica divina. Of those, solely musica instrumentalis stated music as performed sound.
